Initiative 6.viii Strengthen Denver’s brand for craft industries (e.g. beer/culinary) through various tactics such as events, local talent exposures and new products:

Top Chef filmed the 15th season of the hit show in Denver, Aspen, Boulder and Telluride. The new season began airing in late 2017.

Initiative 6.vi – Leverage new technologies to implement tourism strategies:

Wayin (social photos), OnceThere (tour bookings) and other new, innovative tools are being assessed and utilized to keep VISIT DENVER on the cutting edge.

Initiative 6.xii Expand promotion of the live music scene (e.g. comprehensive music calendar, annual event):

For the second year, VISIT DENVER brought a Red Rocks replica to Chicago’s Taste of Randolph street festival to highlight Denver’s music scene. The Denver365 events calendar is featuring an expanded music section. And, see Initiative 2.i regarding a multi-day music festival being planned for Overland Park Golf Course.
